Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will have complete various accounting activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide data entry, accounting and general support for regional NCEE Shared Service Centre operations;
Post, verify, and balance debits & credits on entries on SAP; verify accuracy of accounting journals and relevant documents per established procedures;
Respond to inquiries, check accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies;
Participate and lead new task transitions to NCEE Shared Service Centre
Perform month-end close activities, including the calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
Handle CapEx accounting, including fixed assets and leases, through journal entries, capitalization, and compliance with standards
Execute and coordinate assigned project work;
Build and maintain effective working relationships with relevant colleagues across the region.
Ad hoc support to wider team with AP invoice entry, automated bank payments, and posting manual bank entries to SAP, supporting on more complex cases.
Skills and Knowledge:
Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge and minimum 3 year of relevant experience;
Education related to accounting or financial management or a related field;
Fluent in English;
Strong basic skills of working with MS Excel;
Be able to work accurately, efficiently & meet tight deadlines;
Problem solver, flexibly embracing change and with a customer care attitude.
Experience of working with accounting packages, SAP experience an advantage;
Education:
3-5years of directly related experience, preferably in a shared service centre environment for a multinational company.
Education related to accounting or financial management.
Work Experience:
Finance team leading experience a strong advantage;
Fluency in English is a must;
Experience with SAP system and advanced user of MS Excel;
Solid time management and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to develop and optimize the working processes
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent problem solver, customer care attitude and dedication to continuous improvement
