Sr. Accountant – Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

6-Month Contract-to-Hire (Goal: Full-Time Conversion)

$52–$60/hr + Benefits | Target Salary: $110K–$125K

As a Sr. Accountant, you’ll be a key player in the full-cycle accounting process, supporting both strategic and day-to-day operations:

ResponsibilitiesLead monthly general ledger close and manage audit schedules.Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end accruals.Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.Manage fixed asset schedules and lease audits.Review revenue postings and direct manufacturer invoicing.Post payroll entries and track vendor incentives.Support AP/AR functions including vouchering, invoice matching, and discrepancy resolution.Create and deliver invoices for direct-ship and third-party freight customers.Prioritize vendor payments and manage weekly check, ACH, and wire transactions.Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and paperless workflows.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.5+ years of high-volume, full-cycle accounting experience.Strong command of General Ledger, AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.Experience in manufacturing, distribution, packaging, or facilities industries.Familiarity with ERP systems (AS400-based systems a plus).Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive mindset.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $60.00/hr.
