Title: Senior Accountant Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite) Key Areas of Responsibility: + Manage daily accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of general ledger. Review flux and trend analyses of financial statements data monthly. + Responsible for month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries + Prepare and review account reconciliations. Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to determine the proper accounting treatment of business transactions and resolve any aging items. + Support internal and external audits, as well as external reporting activities. + Assess current SOX controls to ensure adequacy. Identify and implement any new controls on existing or new processes, including updating/creating process documentation, collaborating with business process owners, etc. + Review complex and unusual transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies. + Lead ad hoc projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance + 3+ years of related experience + Good organization skills and details oriented + Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues to solve problems + Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management Preferred Qualifications: + Licensed CPA + Master’s Degree + Industry / Corporate Accounting / Public Accounting experience + Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Oracle ERP and SAP Business Objects Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job EEO Statement Integrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
