We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s dynamic corporate accounting team. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career with a fast-growing, forward-thinking investment firm managing multiple entities.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations across multiple entities, including:Month-end and year-end close processesAccounts payable and receivableGeneral ledger maintenancePayroll, utilities, and treasury functionsBudgeting and cash forecastingRevenue and expenditure variance analysisFixed asset and debt activity trackingTrust and capital asset reconciliationsPrepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.Implement and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Coordinate and support external audits and regulatory reporting.Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.Ensure timely completion of financial objectives and reporting deadlines.Maintain organized and accurate fiscal records and documentation.Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.Strong proficiency in Yardi and accounting software systems.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit procedures.Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred SkillsCPA certification or progress toward CPA.Experience in private equity or investment firm environments.Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
