Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsibilities: • Perform month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Oversee the general ledger, maintaining its integrity and compliance with accounting standards. • Manage billing operations and collections, ensuring efficient and timely payment processing. • Support payroll tasks, including processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing actionable insights to management. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting workflows and enhance organizational efficiency. • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. • Assist in maintaining financial systems, including QuickBooks Online, to ensure data accuracy. • Contribute to process improvements and recommend solutions for optimizing accounting operations. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles such as Staff Accountant or General Accountant. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is preferred but not required. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external stakeholders. • Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance regulations is a plus.
