In this role, you will have the opportunity to:\n\n● Own the monthly close process and support the financial & regulatory reporting\n● Act as subject matter expert on complex accounting issues and provide solutions\nas appropriate\n● Be the go-to person on financial reporting and presenting in monthly close\nmeetings\n● Be responsible for complex analysis and have the ability to articulate the financial\n& regulatory implications\n● Lead in enhancing financial reporting processes and policies, systems, internal\ncontrol environments, and recommend process changes and improvements\n● Contribute to new initiatives and new product launches\n● Provide staff mentoring and training, including reviewing the work of junior\ncolleagues\n● Manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders and be the\nfirst touchpoint for issues and resolutions\n\nOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:\nBank reconciliations\nCredit card accruals\nG&A month end accrual\nprepaids (set up and amortization)\nLease accounting
