This role requires strong partnership and collaboration with the supply chain, FP&A, and various Corporate teams to deliver accurate accounting, financial reporting, processes and internal controls. This highly visible role performs complex analysis and technical accounting functions to gather, analyze, interpret, record and present financial data, and contributes to the development and implementation of best practices and process improvements across global accounting and financial reporting processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS
Assist with the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.Support with interim, quarterly, and year-end audit processes including responding to internal and external auditors as required.Support forecasting and annual planning efforts, understanding key financial drivers and variances, and providing decision support analysis, including communicating with business partners.Support the lease administration process as required.Research and analyze transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve differences.Responsible for more complex accounting areas requiring precision and judgement, including ensuring accuracy of revenue recognition, inventory costing, valuation, reserve calculations and significant estimates.Drive process improvements and efficiencies for areas of responsibility.Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reportingEnsure accounting practices are in compliance with US GAAP and company policy.Escalate issues and present recommendations to management.Maintain effective internal controls, identify risks and related control changes.Participate on company projects and initiatives including systems implementation and testing.Perform other duties as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experienceCPA license preferredPublic accounting experience preferredExcellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of an organizationStrong knowledge of US GAAPSelf-starter who owns work, and is highly detail orientedFlexible with the ability to work independently and within a team environmentCompensation range starting at $95,000.
