Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is designed with a clear path to ascend into the Controller position as part of our long-term financial leadership succession plan. The ideal candidate Senior Accountant will have strong technical accounting skills, a hands-on approach, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement and leadership development. Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities: + Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes + Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP + Lead general ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities + Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives + Partner with department heads to ensure proper cost allocations and reporting + Oversee and improve internal controls and accounting procedures + Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors + Mentor junior staff and assist in building out the future accounting team + Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization + Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives For immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054.
