Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting and financial reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, managing month-end close processes, and supporting overall financial operations.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and execute month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial information.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to enhance financial operations.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role, with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
