Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial operations, conducting research on filings, managing internal financial documents, and assisting with other related activities. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and eager to grow into a leadership role.

ResponsibilitiesConduct title searches and verify ownership documentation.Collaborate with sellers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records.Perform light collections work; most customers are timely payers.Prepare and maintain internal profit and loss statements.Assist the CFO in preparing financial statements and reports.Use QuickBooks software for accounting functions.Essential SkillsFamiliarity with preparing and issuing 1099 forms.Proficiency in QuickBooksStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAccounting/finance degree or equivalent experience.Opportunities for growth, including a clear path toward a future Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Dental/Vision Insurance – 100% of Employee’s plan paid by Employer
• Health Insurance – 70% of Employee’s plan paid by Employer
• Aflac Supplemental Insurance– 100% paid by the employee
• $25,000 Life Insurance Policy – 100% paid by Employer
• $25,000 AD & D Policy – 100% paid by Employer
• PTO/Sick Leave – 21 Days per Year (120 hours can rollover each year)
• PTO Days increase the longer you are employed – max out at 30 days.
• 401K – Can begin contributing the first month after start date. There are waiting periods for the Safe Harbor and the Profit Sharing employer contributions.
• Summer Hours (Mon-Thurs 7:30 – 5; Friday 7:30-1:00 between Memorial Day-Labor Day)
• Raises & Bonuses (when available)
• Annual Reviews – December
