**Position Snapshot**
+ Location: Budapest and Home Office
+ Education: Finance/Economics University degree, preferable: Chartered Accountant qualification
+ Experience: 4-5 years experience in accounting
+ Languages: Fluent English and fluent Hungarian language knowledge
**Position Summary**
Professional accounting work in Accounting Operations Team. Ensure the accurate, compliance and on-time GL postings, so the company’s transactions are accurately recorded and the internal and statutory reporting requirements are completed within the established timescales.
**A day in the life of a Senior Accountant...**
+ Ensure the compliant General Ledger accounting
+ Execute existing accounting and reporting controls and procedures
+ Responsible for fixed asset accounting processes
+ Responsible for IFRS16 related accounting processes
+ Ensure proper, on-time Balance Sheet reconciliation
+ Perform, support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing accounting tasks both IFRS and Hungarian Accounting law for areas of functional responsibility
+ Implement process changes and best practices for General Ledger reporting
+ Update procedures and standard routines for areas of functional responsibility
+ Support external/internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
+ Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver high quality information
