Our client, a highly success Insurance organization, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team — someone who can confidently take charge of end-to-end ledger activities and help shape the financial story behind their insurance programs. Responsibilities of this position will include: · Own and execute ledger tasks for assigned programs, including posting manual journals and SAP uploads · Handle insurance contract journals, reinsurance costs, and contingent commissions · Execute accruals, deferrals, and reversals · Reconcile program controls with a sharp eye for accuracy · Support reporting, tax extracts, and pre-close adjustments · Collaborate with the US Accounting Manager to review work, analyze program performance, and drive improvements · Get involved in ad hoc projects and contribute to regulatory compliance For immediate consideration please email resume to Alex.Muzaurieta@roberthalf.
