Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant specializing in financial reporting to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in the preparation and filing of SEC financial disclosures. The ideal candidate will excel in technical accounting research and collaborate effectively across departments to deliver high-quality financial statements.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and file financial reports such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in drafting quarterly earnings releases and related financial disclosures.
• Conduct technical accounting research to address complex transactions and draft position papers for management and auditors.
• Review and finalize financial statements, footnotes, and management’s discussion and analysis (MD& A).
• Collaborate with departments including FP& A, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to gather accurate reporting data.
• Monitor and implement updates to regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with new standards.
• Support both internal and external audit processes by providing thorough documentation and explanations.
• Enhance financial reporting processes through continuous improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage tagging and updates for regulatory filings to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field.
• Proficiency with month-end close processes, general ledger management, and journal entries.
• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations.
• Expertise in preparing SEC financial reports, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Familiarity with drafting annual proxy statements and earnings press releases.
• Knowledge of technical accounting principles and ability to conduct research on complex transactions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
