**T&M Account Manager (Electronics Accounts)**
**The Role**
An Account Manager is a critical role in NI’s Sales organization. A candidate needs to have strong passion and energy, to manage pre-defined highest potential and strategically important accounts to achieve the sales goals, grow NI business and help customers to be more competitive in their market.
This role involves all the sales activities, including:understanding where their customers are heading, generating customers‘ demands, satisfying the customers’ requests to deliver a positive customer experience, building solid customer relationship, providing business consultation and solving problems with the support from application and system engineers as well as NI partners, working closely with internal and external cross-functional teams for account development planning and execution.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage a Book of Accounts mainly consisting of those in the industries of Electrical Machinery and Life Sciences to achieve long-term success.
+ Find similarity among the book of accounts, develop and execute a plan to promote NI products and systems effectively. Then identify the highest potential accounts and develop them with other PBU team members.
+ Proactively leverage resources abroad and external resources and drive an omni-channel strategy to cover a wide-range of customers.
+ Be an expert connector; Networking within assigned accounts to build high-impact relationships
+ Develop sales strategy focusing on customer co-authored initiatives to build demand and uncover business growth opportunities aligned with NI objectives.
+ Be active in providing customer updates, product feedback to corporate, and apply the customers’ feedback on driving account penetration with cross-functional teams.
**Key Performance Objectives**
+ Consistently achieve sales goals and meet sales quota
+ Demonstrate account knowledge and ability to impact revenue by applying sales tracking systems and providing accurate forecasts.
+ Develop and drive the execution of account plans and objectives.
+ Learn NI products, systems and relevant value propositions.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Minimum Degree: B.S major in related area.
+ Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
+ Good time management and multitasking skills
+ Ability to work in teams or individually if required
+ Have a creative and strategic approach to problem solving
+ 3-5years of experience in engineering or technical sales at Transportation/Automotive industry

• Passion to evangelize the NI platform to electrical machinery and life science industry
• An innovative thinker
• Willing to build relationships with others
• Business level Japanese communication skill
• Business level English communication skill
