Position Overview:
The Senior Software Developer will take an active role in the design and development of Secure Issuance software for Entrust Instant Financial Issuance solution. The solutions are built using .NET/Java and modern Web technology stack that employs the latest in industry required security standards. The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
Responsibilities:
Design, test, deploy, debug, implement .NET software application and services
Effectively apply Agile (Scrum) methodology to track progress and enforce project standards
Knowledgeable about secure development lifecycle, threat modeling, and web application security assessments
Participate in requirements definition, documentation and code reviews
Contribute to the estimation of work for the team by defining task breakdown, project duration and concurrent effort
Assist in production escalation and problem resolution
Review and unit test code from others on team
Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments
Function independently with project assignments and with minimal supervision.
Exhibit a process-oriented mind set
Confidently interact and share skills with team members
Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5 + years relevant software development experience creating business applications using C#/.NET experience
Experience with any of Visual Studio, VS Code, and TFS/AzureDevOps
Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design
Experience with SaaS development and deployment
Experience developing multi-tenant cloud-based software product
Experience developing custom web pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience with REACT JS or equivalent JS framework
Experience with RESTful API development and integration
Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Understands the concepts of business objects, layered design, data access objects, and design patterns
Ability to travel up to 10%, both domestic and international
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Spring (Boot)
5 + years Java/J2EE (Java 17+) experience
Experience with DevOps scripting and deployments, such as Ansible, Terraform
Experience with AngularJS framework and JQuery
Experience with any of IntelliJ, Eclipse IDE, and JUnit
Experience with relational and NoSQL (document, time series, etc.) databases
Experience with certificates, encryption, secure coding standards
Experience with messaging and communication software systems
Experience with mocking frameworks
Experience with data analytics, statistical analysis, data modeling
Experience developing web services
Experience developing smart cards
Where you will be: This role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in-office at our HQ offices in Shakopee, MN as specified in the job description. At Entrust, we have a distributed workforce.

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $121,744-$178,558 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
