Position Summary...The Supply Chain - Replenishment Planning team manages process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders; presenting new ways of working efforts and continuous improvement recommendations to leadership;

Replenishment Planning team uses advanced planning software to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and create detailed execution plans to optimize Supply Chain service and performance.  We work end-to-end with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain to ensure that all departments are aligned and working towards unified goals by identifying key business drivers, creating a roadmap for achieving business objectives, and establishing metrics for measuring progress.  There is no better place to rapidly grow your business acumen and see how the entire organization connects to deliver for our customers. 

At Sam's Club, we are developing the next generation of capabilities in the Supply Chain space. We are building them by leveraging modern cloud-based infrastructure to support replenishment and order management for our clubs

What you will do

Review, and understand business and technical needs to get a deep understanding on the solution you would enhance / develop / support

Develop applications based on design specifications; including coding, testing, debugging, documenting and reviewing and/or refining across the application development stages in accordance with defined standards for development and security

Assess and test the overall effectiveness and performance of an application, involving the setting up of suitable testing conditions, definition of test cases and/or technical criteria

Identify causes of defects and conduct analysis to avoid recurrence of the issues and improve the quality and performance of the product/solution

Conduct monitoring, maintenance and related activities including documentation, deployment, operation, security, configuration management, training (users and sustainment personnel), technology updates, and retirement of software and system applications

Support in ensuring adherence to program metrics and provide information to correct deficiencies or any identified risks in the achievement of program objectives

 

What you will Bring

Proficiency in Java with experience in Microservices, Object-Oriented Design, and Event-Driven Architectures.

Desired Technology Stack: Java, Spark, Kafka, Postgres DB, and experience with Cloud Platforms like Azure, GCP, BigQuery, Airflow/Hudi

Familiarity with Cloud-Based Deployment strategies, alongside hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Ability to work independently to perform all required actions, and comprehends changes to methodologies, resources and can articulate the same.

Hands on Experience with SQL to query data & generate insights using complex queries, stored procedures, and user defined functions.
