PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for operational support of the division's effort in sales, distribution, and vendor reporting of all assigned products to ultimately lead to increased profitability for GROWMARK and customers. Serves as the primary backup for the Distribution Specialist, Quality Manager, and Inventory Operations Specialist.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist quality manager with the tagging and labeling requirements by trait providers and governing regulatory bodies.

 

Supports in creating, uploading, and reconciling all assigned material and quality data.

 

Assist in the monitoring of back-ordered products for all assigned products. Assist in placing purchase orders for restocking as needed.

 

In conjunction with the Inventory Operations Specialist, implements and controls the availability processes on all assigned product lines.

 

Assist in monitoring and maintaining the assigned product  inventories in SAP in a manner that facilitates shipping and reporting

 

Responsible for reporting and reconciling data for vendors

 

Assist in updating system cost and price of assigned product lines. Assures timely and accurate pricing is sent to all customers

 

Assist in the reconciliation of open purchase and sales orders.

 

Supports in placing vendor direct orders and is the lead department contact for the GROWMARK vendor invoice management system

 

Assist in developing and distributing necessary reports

 

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Cross trains with Operations staff to provide uninterrupted support for their assigned customers as needed.

 

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree in agriculture or business.

 

Ability to perform essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Ability to develop a working knowledge of the GROWMARK enterprise systems and reporting and assist in monitoring enterprise systems for issues.

 

Must have a valid driver's license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
