Seed-Applied Technologies Technical Service Specialist

The Seed-Applied Technologies (SAT) Technical Service Specialist – US provides technical expertise to develop and position seed treatment products with U.S. SAT-Commercial teams. This role will work across the US SAT team, including commercial, marketing, project management, R&D, regulatory, and stewardship colleagues.   The SAT Technical Service Specialist – US focuses on late-stage evaluation of seed treatment products and recipes, developing technical positioning strategies and best practices, as well as delivering high-impact training to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience. We are flexible to fill this position in locations within the US Corn Belt and expect some travel to customer locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:Understands SAT competitive landscape and identifies opportunities for seed treatment products.  Clearly communicates opportunities to SAT portfolio and leadership.Coordinates late-stage SAT recipe field evaluations with SAT R&D and US SAT commercial teams to clearly demonstrate value of new products and seed treatment recipes. Liaison to the Technical Education team to support development of SAT technical bulletins, fact sheets, and product presentations.  Primary contact for technical training and technical product positioning support for US SAT commercial teams and associated third parties.Develops best practices for seed treatment applications at customer’s treatment facilities.Evaluates seed treatment challenges and provide solutions that allow for process or application improvements.

Qualifications:

Agriculture-related Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferredFive (5) + years of post-graduate agriculture experience, seed-applied technology experience preferred.Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal).Customer-centric mindset with drive-to-deliver results.Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.Ability to lead or manage multiple projects at once.

Work Environment:

Possibility of office, laboratory, warehouse, and agricultural settings.May involve exposure to dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
