Security Systems Service Technicians ensure all systems and components are inspected, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the customer.  These systems and components include cctv or ip cameras, alarm sensors, access control devices, and software platforms.  Our Security Service Technicians are the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help keep their building inhabitants safe.

 

As a Security Service Technician, you will:

Collaborate in the commissioning of new security systems at customer sites, ensuring their proper setup and functionality Thoroughly document commissioning details and effectively communicate deficiencies and progress to relevant stakeholders Perform rigorous testing and inspections on systems covered by maintenance agreements to maintain peak performance Respond promptly to system issues, conducting troubleshooting and executing repairs to restore optimal functionality Identify and address code and non-conformance issues to ensure systems meet required standards Work alongside mentors, Lead Technicians, and Team Leaders to plan tasks efficiently and effectively

 

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: 

Electro-mechanical experience (either in a previous role or through education) and user PC/software skill C-Cure 9000 Advanced certificationGenetec Surveillance certification Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system managementMust be willing and able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; differentiate types/colors of wire, carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted Experience with Microsoft Office  Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations   Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications: 

High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred 1+ years’ experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems Ability to read/understand design and construction documents

The pay range for this position is $51,940 - $89,040 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
