Posting will be removed** **once** **filled.** We are seeking a professional and reliable **Security Supervisor** to lead daily security operations at our automotive client in Brampton, ON. This is a **full-time** role responsible for overseeing site security activities, supervising a team of at least six staff, conducting patrols, fire prevention and management, managing visitor access and security systems, and maintaining accurate reports and logs. The ideal candidate has experience working within the manufacturing sector and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills, along with training in de-escalation and conflict management, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming school environment. **Position Overview:** **Location:** Williams Parkway and Airport Rd **Shift:** 12 Hour Continental Rotation (Days and Overnights) **Pay** **Rate:** $22.56/hr **Easily** **accessible by transit and free parking is available on site.** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Supervise daily security operations and lead a team of at least six staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and a safe, secure environment. + Manage employee performance, provide training and professional development, and implement conflict management and de-escalation strategies as needed. + Open and secure facility spaces for visitors, conducting visual checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality. + Monitor visitor access and security cameras, maintain accurate visitor logs, and address any security concerns. + Perform interior and exterior patrols in all weather conditions. + Monitor and provide support at gatehouses, monitoring traffic and visitors. + Inspect client sprinkler systems and fire equipment. + Complete bag checks during client employee shift changeover and provide extra support to security guards when needed. + Ensure that all policies, procedures, and user expectations are consistently followed by staff and visitors. + Maintain a daily operator report and promptly communicate any incidents, concerns, or operational issues to the management team. ** ** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Valid Ontario Security License  + Valid First Aid and CPR Certification + Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising security teams (6+ staff) within a large facility. + Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response, conflict resolution, and de-escalation tactics + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook + Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills + Knowledge of security systems, visitor management protocols, and facility patrols + Ability to maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation + Flexible and adaptable to support school programs and events + Team player committed to a safe, secure, and welcoming school environment  We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply. **_Securitas Canada does not ask for money or bank account or other sensitive financial information upfront or within job ads, including public job boards during the application process_** **_Further Information about the Company:_** _www.securitas.ca_  \#AF-CanadaGTSO Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
