Let's Take It On

As a Security Solutions Manager, you'll support the Senior Security Solutions Manager in the Loss Prevention department, driving security projects from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered on time and within budget.

You'll also manage maintenance and Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules for all security equipment. This role involves collaborating with suppliers for critical security systems like CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Detection Systems, and maintaining strong relationships with the Commercial Services team to ensure contract compliance.

You'll assist in ensuring all Loss Prevention technology adheres to data protection standards, including supporting the Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) process. Strong organisational skills are key to keeping our projects office running smoothly.

Who We're Looking For

You'll help manage relationships with our Loss Prevention suppliers, reviewing contracts and SLAs, and assisting with onboarding new suppliers and tender processes. Your role involves supporting the daily delivery of physical security for new and existing programs, engaging with various departments to reduce loss, and identifying security weaknesses for improvement. You'll assist in ensuring fire detection systems comply with legislation, support new build projects, and help manage the Automated Gatehouse rollout. Key tasks include managing the DPIA process, preparing CapEx documents, and ensuring supplier compliance with safety regulations (RAM’s, ATW & Hot Works).

Operationally, you'll conduct site visits to assess contractor work, stay updated on crime data, and maintain high standards for installations and reporting. You'll manage your own workload, understand industry security and fire detection standards, while attend relevant industry events. You'll also assist with risk assessments and accident investigations. Effective communication at all levels is crucial, allowing you to share information, present complex data, and handle delegated tasks from the Head of Loss Prevention.

We're looking for someone with experience in a security solutions function or similar, with previous physical security experience being a plus. You should be able to read technical drawings and have a good understanding of criminal law, CCTV, data protection, and industry security/fire detection standards.

You'll need GCSEs in English & Maths (Prince 2 Foundation & Practitioner is a bonus), strong PC skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office), excellent planning and organizational abilities, and a full UK Driving Licence. Personally, you should possess strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, be able to work independently in a confidential environment, and maintain a calm, diplomatic approach. Excellent attention to detail, flexibility for UK travel, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are also vital.
