Security Software Engineer

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in software development, security architecture, application security, or offensive security with a focus on building security systems

Experience designing and implementing automated security tools in Python or Go

Deep understanding of secure system design principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms

Preferred Skills:

Experience building automation to scale security reviews and remediation

Familiarity with vulnerability remediation and secure vendor product integration

Background in incident response with architectural insights for containment and remediation

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and deploy baseline security solutions to protect applications and services

Develop security guardrails to eliminate classes of vulnerabilities at scale

Build automation to enhance and scale security review processes

Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and security staff to embed security best practices across the software development lifecycle

Provide expert guidance on secure product development and integration

Participate in incident response activities and provide architectural recommendations



Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
