Responsibilities Job Summary: Monitors and analyzes security activities from Security Operations Center (SOC). What is the work? (other duties may be assigned) Security: Monitors by video, all entry and exit points for pedestrian and vehicle traffic on proprieties and facilities owned and operated by H-E-B Manages the Security Operations Center for assigned site, utilizing video management and access control systems Prioritizes workload based on urgency; delegates tasks Responsible for the intake and coordination of serious incident reports Performs routine duties with little or no supervision Communications: Communicates with a range of audiences Responsible for conducting security site surveys Responsible for completing security reports Communicates incidents with a sense of urgency, and in a timely manner Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of higher education preferred 3-5 years of experience in security Previous CCTV monitoring experience required Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Preferred Key Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to function in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task Adaptability Strong decision-making skills Physical and Other Requirements Must have a neat, professional appearance Sit for an extended period of time Hand / finger dexterity Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis Work extended hours; must be available to work all shifts Work rotating schedules – we have day, mid, and overnight shifts. Candidates must be available to work all shifts on a rotating basis. Use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day
