GDIT is seeking a Business Development executive to lead business development and capture for GDIT’s Security Services Sector. This growth strategy will include pursuing new initiatives as well as driving organic growth through existing contracts and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully closing business on strategic opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Defense Division. Developing and maintaining relationships across multiple, geographically dispersed customer stakeholder organizations is required for successful performance.

HOW A SECURITY SERVICES GROWTH DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors.Engage with these customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to identify and qualify new business opportunities.Develop an opportunity pipelineLead capture on selected opportunitiesShape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life cycle.Formulate and support the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture and proposal strategy that clearly highlights GDIT’s value proposition and discriminators, and provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting GDIT for award.Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.Lead the identification of new business opportunities that support the account plan, Group growth goals, and submit targets, throughout the opportunity life cycleExecute call plans to collect information about particular opportunities; in collaboration with technical staff, proposes and tests potential solutions; and qualifies opportunitiesPrepare for and present opportunities for bid decisions and pipeline reviewsLead the development of win strategiesContribute to go overall strategy for the businessWHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree requiredRequired Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Business Development and Capture Management, in the Federal Space with experience in the Department of DefenseDemonstrated ability to grow and win business in the Federal marketExperience with SCI and/or SAP programs for customers in the DoD and IC (Intelligence Community)Established relationships within DoD and IC agenciesExperience with budget, investments and acquisition processes.Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required to start with SAPLocation: Falls Church, VA (On-Site)US Citizenship requiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
