Splunk is a 10 time Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) category, there has never been a better time to join us! **ROLE OVERVIEW** Splunk is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Security Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of security solutions across our regional markets. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Cisco and Splunk sales teams to manage pipelines, mitigate renewal risks, and execute targeted sales plays and campaigns. As a thought leader, you will engage customers with strategic guidance, enabling teams with the latest security solution insights and roadmap updates. **Responsibilities** Partner with leadership to develop GTM strategies, account and sales plans for customers to increase the mix of products and capability relating to Security. Holistically embrace, access, and use the channel to identify and open up new opportunities. · Understand and help identify the Security landscape within accounts and collaborate with account teams to develop positioning tactics. · Enable sales team and Execute Global growth initiative sales plays and campaigns to generate incremental Annual Contract Value (iACV). · Collaborate as an extension of Cisco and Splunk sales teams, including Regional Sales Managers, Systems Engineers, Solution Architects, and Client Directors. · Act as a Security thought leader in customer engagements, providing strategic insights and enabling teams on relevant roadmap items. · Develop comprehensive security account plans for at least 10 critical accounts · Work with Account teams to proactively identify at-risk accounts and create get well plans. · Partner with cross-functional teams to drive security adoption and achieve business targets. · Responsible for forecasting in aligned territory **Qualifications** **5-10 years of experience in a customer-facing role in enterprise/SaaS software environment** · Prior Security Solutions consulting selling · Splunk Security Solutions experience is a plus · Demonstrate deep understanding of industry & competitive trends in Security markets. Able to demonstrate a consistent track record of use-case positioning with the“C” suite, supporting large and complex customer deployment decisions. · Strong executive presence and communication. Proven to be able to hold strategic and executive relationships with key persona in Security domains. · Strong ability to analyze sales trends as well as market and competitive activity/insights to synthesize strategies to grow sales, customer success or create solution cross-sell or up-sell motions. · Adept at developing solution focused business plans for sales scaling, sales campaigns, new product introduction (NPI) programs. · Familiarity with & comfortable using value based selling tools, account-targeting strategies, and methods to drive & lead sales motions, knowledge of MEDDIC or challenger methodologies is a plus. This role is based in Sydney and is a hybrid remote role - with some time spent in the North Sydney CBD offices. You will need to reside within the Sydney area.
