**Job Description** **Security Representative II Industrial Security Administrative Assistant** The Security Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Industrial Security function by assisting with personnel security coordination, access control administration, and security records management. This position supports security operations in an unclassified environment and serves as a key point of contact for internal visit coordination while working under established policies and procedures. This role is intended as an entry-level opportunity into the Industrial Security profession, with a primary focus on administrative support, documentation, and process execution. Candidates must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance, though a clearance is not required at the time of hire. The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management. **What You ll Do:** + Prepare and issue employee, contractor, and visitor badges, identification cards, and access credentials in accordance with established procedures. + Maintain and update security-related records supporting personnel access, visit coordination, and property accountability. + Collect, submit, and track electronic fingerprints, handprints, and biometric data using approved processes and systems. + Maintain lock, key, and access control documentation; support periodic audits and inventory reviews. + Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating internal and external visit requests, ensuring required information is collected, verified, and processed accurately. + Review security documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to submission or access issuance. + Maintain controlled security documentation and sensitive information in compliance with company policy and applicable regulations. + Provide administrative support to Security Managers and Facility Security Officers, including data entry, reporting, and status tracking. + Respond to employee and visitor inquiries related to security processes in a professional and timely manner. + Support internal reviews, inspections, and compliance activities as directed. + Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. + Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. + Perform other duties as necessary. **On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site five days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. **Working Conditions:** + Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 or more years of related experience. + Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor s or Master s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. + Solid attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. + Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. + Proficiency with standard office software and administrative tools. + Solid communication skills. \#LI-JL2 A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Previous administrative experience in a regulated, compliance-driven, or security-related environment. + Interest in developing a career in Industrial Security or government security operations. + Experience coordinating schedules, records, or visitor access in a professional office environment. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $38041 - $60865 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
