What will you do

The Security Regulation Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the Vodafone’s adherence to all applicable cyber and information security laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding organizational assets by developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust compliance framework that aligns with regulatory requirements such as Cyber Law, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and others.

Job Responsibilities

Implementing and Maintaining Security Policies  

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of organizational assets and data.

 

Conducting Risk Assessments 

Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

 

Ensuring Compliance with Relevant Regulations

Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant security regulations and standards, including but not limited to Cyber Law, GDPR, NIS2, and ISO 27001.

 

Responding to Security Incidents: 

Act as the primary point of contact for security incidents, coordinating response efforts, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of security frameworks, protocols, and technologies.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey security policies and procedures to stakeholders

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

University Degree: A University degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field is required.Master's Degree: A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.Experience: Proven experience in security regulation compliance, risk assessment, and incident response.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.What's in it for you
