Lead the Threat Assessment Team in responding to and managing workplace threats and risks, including threats, potential violence and/or harassment
Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies
Provide expert consultation to leadership regarding high-risk cases and security concerns
Prepare regular reports and briefings for senior leadership on program performance and incident outcomes
Lead post-incident reviews to assess response effectiveness and implement improvements
Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide policies and procedures for threat management and workplace violence prevention
Partner with ER, Legal, EAP and business leaders to conduct risk assessments, investigations and resolution planning
Provide expert guidance and training to Threat Assessment Team members, employees, and leaders at all levels globally
Oversee employee support programs related to workplace violence, including counseling and recovery resources
Monitor industry trends and evolving risks to ensure our program remains best-in-class and compliant with all relevant regulations
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with industry experts and peers
Manage relationships with external security consultants and law enforcement partners
MUST HAVES
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of Security Program Management experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years of experience
NICE TO HAVE
Certified Threat Manager (CTM) with extensive experience in investigations, incident management, and reporting
Proven leader of cross-functional teams, skilled in threat assessment and workplace violence prevention
Strong strategic and operational thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and crisis response skills, adept at engaging diverse audiences
High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and adaptability; able to prioritize and maintain confidentiality under pressure

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
