The Security Program Manager oversees security strategies and initiatives on behalf of ABM and their client. They develop and implement a programmatic approach to security plans that align with the organization's goals. They also analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of their strategies and make necessary adjustments. You'll use program management skills, security standards, and your own expertise to develop strategies that align with company goals. A communications lead works closely with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity.
Responsibilities:
• Interact with business leaders to define security strategy, review progress and seek feedback. Build valuable customer relationships.
• Provide professional strategic counsel and tactic support to company leaders regarding sensitive materials, staffing, campaigns and strategies
• Build internal communications and execute tactics that support the education and growth of employees
• Advise on use of various security channels to support program goals.
• Possess financial and contractual acumen; budgeting, forecasting, accruals, change order processing, the ability review contracts and provide necessary feedback
• Evaluate existing processes and procedures and recommend new ones
• Tracking and monitoring: Keeping track of priority security objectives
• Identifying and coordinating: Finding connections between programs, products, and other initiatives
• Providing insight: Offering suggestions and recommendations to improve security
• Researching: Looking into security concerns and suggesting solutions
• Overseeing: Managing and planning projects
• Communicating: Driving accountability across teams and communicating with partners
• Serve as a member of the Company's crisis communications team
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, or Communications strongly preferred.
• 10 years of experience in security management with at least 5 years of corporate experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to deliver effective and persuasive communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and executive presence. Ability to respond to the most sensitive issues.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business documents.
• Experience in a fast paced and agile environment. Ability to prioritize and work under tight timeframes.
• Experience with Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheet, Site, Gmail, etc.) is preferred
• Proficient and experience in change management process
• Skill to develop, drive, and deliver against implementation plans. Experience in facilitating and influencing decision making. Commitment to continuous improvement
with a high degree of initiative.
• Travel anticipated up to 30%
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
PAY: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
