The Security Program Lead will manage a team of security professionals and work in collaboration with different departments within the organization to ensure the team is in compliance with the organization and project’s security standards. **District Overview** Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is a full-service engineering, project management and construction provider operating across North America. With these broad capabilities, we operate in the power utility, renewable energy, industrial and infrastructure markets. **Location** The position will be based on our project in Darlington, ON. **Responsibilities** + Define, develop, and create security programs and strategies that align with the project’s standards. + Identify security risks and gaps on the project, and implement the processes needed to eliminate them. + Oversee the implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure its validation and effectiveness. + Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of security professionals on security processes and culture. + Manage incident reporting and response by communicating effectively with the team and handling the necessary documentation. + Support with any auditing processes by preparing the necessary security documentation and ensuring it’s in compliance with the appropriate legal legislations and regulations. + Continuous assessing of the exiting security program and identifying areas for improvement. + Verify on site activities and security requirements through regular audits (worker under exemption, visitor, etc.) + Work with different stakeholders, external partners, and other departments. + Other tasks as needed. **Qualifications** + Minimum 8 years of experience as Security Manager + Valid Ontario Security/Guard License is preferred + Previous security experience in industrial site (Oil & gas, Chemical, etc.) + Strong understanding of security principles and practices. + Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. + Experience working on a construction site is considered an asset + Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (both oral and written). + Organizational and time management skills. + Valid Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle + Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. + Must be able to work in various weather conditions. \#LI-IS1 **Other Requirements:** • Regular, reliable attendance • Work productively and meet deadlines timely • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment • Perform work safely and effectively.
