What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including the business area and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential issues.Monitor for suspicious activity or behavior and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.Support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting irregularities or incidents within the retail environment.Assist customers, associates, and visitors with general inquiries, directions, and requests for assistance while maintaining a professional presence.Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
