As a Security Professional - Media Site Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and delivering excellent customer service to all personnel and visitors. Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, with working environments and conditions varying by site.Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazards identified during patrols.Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and/or site personnel to address concerns and maintain order.Complete required reports, logs, or documentation accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
