Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to site protocols.Assist with access control at entry and exit points, verifying identification as needed and monitoring for compliance with location policies.Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related issues and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, adapting to changing conditions and requirements within the retail distribution setting.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
