Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and professional manner, using problem-solving skills.Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.Monitor for suspicious activity or persons and report findings according to site procedures.Enforce access control procedures and check identification as required by site policies.Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site protocols.Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing all assigned duties.Follow all weapon handling protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Level III armed certification is required for Texas.A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
