What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the site, verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors at all designated entry and exit points.Assist with implementing site-specific security-related procedures in a technology-focused environment.Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and offering guidance related to site access and protocols.Help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activities through attentive observation and prompt reporting of suspicious behavior or incidents.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including surrounding perimeter areas, to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.Document all access control activities, incidents, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with site management and local authorities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
