Security Operations Analyst

Full Time Position:

$30 per hour

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Operations Analyst. The Security Operations Analyst is a key contributor to the organization’s risk management and security posture, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and monitoring enterprise risks that could impact business operations, assets, and personnel. This role delivers timely and actionable intelligence to support informed decision-making at the executive level and safeguard the organization’s interests. Core responsibilities include drafting and disseminating various intelligence products such as Alerts, Domestic and International Intelligence Assessments, Situational Reports, Executive Briefs, and BOLO advisories. The Security Operations Analyst also collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop innovative strategies and build best-in-class intelligence programs that strengthen operational resilience and preparedness. The Security Operations Analyst may be expected to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and analyze global threats and vulnerabilities from open-source intelligence (OSINT) and technology risk platforms to protect corporate assets, personnel, operations, and reputationProvide timely and proactive intelligence on emerging risks to inform security decision-makingDevelop in-depth knowledge of client operations and priorities to identify trends, warnings, and potential threatsMaintain organized and secure intelligence records, reports, and documentationSupport local and regional security operations with actionable intelligence and coordinationCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet intelligence requirementsBuild and maintain professional intelligence networks within and outside the organizationHandle and protect sensitive, confidential corporate information with discretionAssist in managing vendor platforms and coordinate with subsidiaries and support staff on security matters

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, or Security Management, or related fieldMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a Global Security Operations Center, crisis response, risk intelligence, emergency management or physical security operations support roleExperience with open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering, including social media and news media scanningStrong knowledge of real-time global threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation protocolsExcellent oral and written communication skills; ability to write structured, actionable, and audience-appropriate summariesAbility to draft crisis and emergency communications and high-level situational updates under tight timeframesAbility to support crisis preparedness activities (e.g., tabletop & training exercises) and maintain incident tracking and documentation systemsAbility to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with minimal oversight

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

College degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or CybersecurityMilitary or Law Enforcement Intelligence Analyst experienceFamiliarity with security systems and tools such as critical event management platforms (e.g., Crisis24), access control, and video surveillance (e.g., Genetec)Proficiency in data analytics and familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)Experience using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) to enhance workflows
