As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Watch in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist with access points, observe and report unusual activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as directed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, processing areas, tank farms, docks, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access points and vehicle entry areas by checking authorization, verifying identification and/or badges, directing traffic flow, and documenting entries and exits in logs or electronic systems.Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover to help support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.Have a TSA issued TWIC.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.A guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
