As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Shift in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public emergency resources as required.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access points, observe for unusual conditions, and document security-related activities, incidents, and/or hazards in daily reports and logs.Support security-related operations by assisting with key control and/or visitor processes, maintaining a professional presence, and communicating concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.Client requires proof of HS diploma/GED.Be 21+ years of age.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
