What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely communication to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations.Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing traffic flow to support orderly operations.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems when assigned, documenting observations and escalating concerns per post orders.Complete routine patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information with clear, detailed, and timely documentation.Support receiving and shipping activity as directed by post orders, including monitoring dock areas, trailer checks when assigned, and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions.Perform roving checks of critical areas such as offices, storage areas, break areas, and parking lots, with attention to restricted zones and signage requirements.Assist with emergency and abnormal events such as fire alarms, medical calls, spills, and severe weather by following site procedures and coordinating with responders as directed.Maintain a professional presence, follow uniform and appearance standards, and provide courteous assistance and/or directions to employees, contractors, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
