As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Patrol in Boston, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role will focus on monitoring the premises, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical incidents, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
