As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transportation locations and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activities and identify potential concerns.Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents as required by site protocols.Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site supervisors, and local authorities as necessary.Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor the flow of individuals within transportation facilities.Support emergency preparedness by participating in drills and responding appropriately during emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least one year of security-related experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
