As a Security Officer - Retail Facility - Multiple Shifts in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will play a key role in access control, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and responding to alarms or unusual activity. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to provide reassurance and support. What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the retail location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during the shift.Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.Experience with alarm panels is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
