As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an industrial and manufacturing location. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.Serve as a visible Allied Universal representative to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
