As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to requests, and support visitors and staff with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related post orders at a government location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.Monitor entrances and controlled areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report concerns through established communication and documentation channels.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and/or public emergency services when appropriate.Complete shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with clear, accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
