As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Residential in Ladera Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a vibrant residential location, where you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors. As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for conducting vehicle patrols in accordance with our guidelines. What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout each encounter.Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter, observing for potential issues or security-related concerns.Help to deter unauthorized activities or access by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.Document and report security-related incidents, unusual circumstances, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site protocols.Assist residents, visitors, and staff with questions or requests, providing directions or information as needed while maintaining a courteous demeanor.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site-specific instructions.Remain alert to surroundings and consistently monitor for potential hazards or suspicious activity throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, as required by the client.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
