As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Winchester, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, report concerns, and communicate clearly with staff, drivers, and visitors while delivering a customer-focused experience. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, reporting unusual activity and/or hazards according to post orders.Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic by verifying identification, directing visitors to designated areas, and documenting entries and exits as required.Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant updates during post transitions, and support compliance with site rules for people and property.

Minimum Requirements:

Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.Customer Service Experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
