As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Grass Lake, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or security-related concerns.Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner.Document and report any observed irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional security-related responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.Must be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
