As a Security Officer - Magnetometer Screener in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a tech, media, and telecom location, you will greet visitors, verify credentials, manage access points, and perform entry screening while staying visible to help discourage security-related issues. You will communicate clearly with employees and guests, document activity, and escalate concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies at designated screening checkpoints.Screen individuals and belongings using approved methods and equipment, verify identification and access authorization, and help to deter prohibited items from entering controlled areas.Monitor entry and exit points, manage visitor sign-in and badge issuance, and coordinate with site contacts for access approvals and/or escort requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as directed by post orders.Document screening activities, unusual activity, and incidents in daily logs and reports, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
