As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by actively monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. This is a driving post, so you will patrol the premises by vehicle as needed. Your visible presence and positive, professional interactions will help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or visitors at the hotel and resort location by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies or disturbances on the premises.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain site integrity.Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Work collaboratively with hotel and resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants and guests.Assist with managing visitor and contractor access, following established protocols for verification and authorization.Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to guests as needed.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR certification is preferred.Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.A current guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
