As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond promptly to situations, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions or situations.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.Communicate with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and deliver information regarding security-related procedures and location policies.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
